00:00   The first section (A) opens with a solo flute which will dominate the various instrumental colors of this section. Harp arpeggios and other solo winds build a delicate texture.
01:18   A brief orchestral tutti swells the texture only to be followed again by solo instruments, especially flute and clarinet. The harp returns with arpeggios.
01:35   Flute returns with harp and strings.
02:14   The theme returns again in the flute part.
02:48   The clarinet enters with a contrasting idea with more rhythmic motion, muted brass. 
03:16   The middle section (B) begins with the oboe. The harmonies seem more defined. The alternation between soloists and string section continues.
04:14   Peaceful moment contrasts the more developmental 	 passages which started (B).
05:07   Sudden melodic change (strings) with slow harp arpeggios.
05:54   Solo French horn, solo violin and solo clarinet. Oboe enters, harp arpeggios, accompany the original theme (flute).
06:43   Oboe statement begins a brief moment of energy.
07:22   Developmental section continues with full orchestra intertwined with solo winds.
07:39   Last section (A'), original theme (flute), solo violin, with lush string accompaniment. Small cymbal rings.
08:14   Flute continues, slow harp arpeggios, solo violin. 
08:45   The oboe continues the dialogue.
08:55   Cadence, feeling of stability.
09:21   Solo flute, light cymbal rings, soft strings bring the work to an end.
